Holiday portrait pricing is here!!

It’s that time of year again!  I think photo greeting cards for Christmas are my FAVORITE items to receive in the mail.  It’s a trend that I’m so so so glad is back.  I know in my house, we keep the photo cards all year long in a special place and will periodically take one out and pray for the family whose card we draw. Now is the time to book your family pictures for holiday cards.  To guarantee time for your family’s images to be perfectly retouched and delivered to you in time to send out holiday cards, all holiday sessions need to be competed / shot by November 15.

Holiday portraits packages are as follows:

1 – $75 portrait session fee includes 30 minute session, 2 4×6″ prints, 1 5×7″ print, 8 wallets

2 – $200 portrait session fee includes 30 minute session, 8 edited digital image files

3 – $400 portrait session fee includes 30 minute session, 15-20 edited digital image files, 1 retouched file (finely edited ready to print on canvas)

Prices includes session fee and prints / high resolution edited images via instant download. Paypal as well as personal checks are accepted.   $50 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session date and time.  Half of your package payment is due upon ordering and the remaining balance is due prior to receiving your prints / digital image files. To book your session, contact me via the tab above and I’d love to add your family to my calendar!  Spaces are limited.

I have a growing list of places around Tallahassee I want to photograph.

Goodwood. The Grove Museum (seriously, how is it that tucked away on North Monroe?). The canopy roads. Wakulla Springs. Florahome-style spots that make you feel like you stumbled onto something.

I want to grow a collection of prints from this area, and I am genuinely curious what spots matter most to you.

What are your favorite places around Tallahassee and the surrounding communities? Drop them below. I want to hear what this place means to the people who live here.
Our country turns 250 this year. I was in the middle of editing a gallery when that number actually stopped me.

I have four kids - 6, 11, 15, and 17. And I have spent years telling other families that childhood is fleeting, that these seasons pass before you're ready, that photographs are one of the most meaningful ways you hold onto them.

I've said it hundreds of times.

And then I sat there and realized I needed to take my own advice.

So this summer, I'm photographing all four of my kids in what I'm calling Heirloom Portraits. Not elaborate. Not trendy. Just simple, timeless portraits that show exactly who they are right now, in the year America turned 250.

Because someday I want them to be able to show these to their own kids and say, 'This is who I was that year.'

That thought made the decision easy.

I opened up a small number of spots for other families to do the same. Details are linked in my bio if this is something you've been quietly wanting.
